Hiding issues from roadmap view ...?

Scenario:

I have a filter in roadmap, which shows user requiremetn with key id-123 and I have also same issue in the wbs gant. I would assume that if I just delete it from roadmap view it will be permanently deleted and due to this cannot be seen anymore in the wbs-gant chart. 

Is there any way to hide an item from roadmap ex epic and it's child issues or is the only good way to apply specific filter rule for all the items what you want to show in a roadmap view ?

Solved by applying customized filter.
