Hi all,
I found a bug in JIRA software when trying to edit the Workflows as a project admin and I was wondering if this was resolved in 8.2 (before I upgrade). I couldn't find anything in the release notes
System: Jira Software 8.0.2 Linux server
How to reproduce:
Result:
Spinning wheel in the place where the workflow should appear.
Workaround:
Switch the language to English (US) and the workflow is accessible.
Hello Erick,
Goedemorgen! Thank you for contacting us about this.
Can you tell me, are you able to test to see if this is only with Dutch, or does it also occur with another language?
I ask because we have a bug report logged by my colleague here in Amsterdam and I think it might be related:
It sounds very similar to your issue.
If you were to open the workflow from ⚙ > Issues > Workflow instead, it seems like it should work regardless of the language, according to the bug. Can you confirm that?
If you determine this to be the cause of your issue, please click Vote for this issue. You will automatically be added to the watch list, so you will receive any updates on this case via email.
Thank you for your help!
Regards,
Shannon
Hi Shannon,
thank you for replying.
I can confirm this issue is also present for Jira Software / Core with a Process Management Workflow.
I upgraded to 8.2.1 this morning and this issue still occurs for Dutch And I can confirm that this does NOT occur when German is selected.
So it seems to be language dependent. Please note that the workaround does is not available if you are a project admin (not system admin)
