Sprint Board Story Status UI bug?

Is this a UI bug, or have we configured something incorrectly?

On the sprint board, stories with subtasks have a box to show their status, but they don't show the whole text.

The html element looks like this:

Hi Alex,

I'm not sure if you are running Jira Cloud or Jira Server, but I'll take a guess that you are on Jira Cloud.

We have a known bug with our New Jira Experience that matches what you are seeing.

JSWCLOUD-16311 - Using New JIRA Experience, status is broken in Swimlane based on Story

This bug is current in progress and a high priority to be fixed so we don't anticipate it taking very long to be resolved.

You can add yourself as a watcher to the bug report to be notified of updates to the progress of the fix.
