when our team is completing our sprint and we roll over items to a new sprint, we are rolling over completed items as well

@Aseem Bansal:
Firstly, before closing out the sprint, ensure all completed issues (work items) should reflect the correct status as in 'Done' or 'Closed'. This would be based on the process followed in your team.
For issues that have not been completed, you may need to rollover or move them depending on individual context of these issues.

For rollover ones, you may proceed to close the sprint and move these 'rollover' issues to the subsequent sprint or backlog.

Where these issues move will again depend on the process followed in your team (& organization) and in conformity with your Product Owner (PO).
