Start Sprint button is disable

Hi Team,

Being a project adminstartor, user is not able to start the sprint.

Required permission to manage sprint is provided, still the same issue.

Please share the solution for it.

I am JIRA Administrator, I am able to start the sprint, but there is no button to submit/cancel it, so I am also not able to start the sprint for the user.

have you also checked the permissions for starting and completing sprints?

There is also a permission helper available which supports you in identifying the issue.

I actually checked my Jira Cloud instance and had to realize that there is only a “Manage Sprints” permission available in the permission scheme.

Anyway the permission helper might help in identifying the issue.

Please also check this article because there might be some over caveats regarding this issue, such as complex filters used behind boards or license issues when the user is not a Jira Software user.
