Hey all!
When I enter a task with start and due date, the event's duration is not displayed correctly in the calendar view. For example, adding an event lasting from August, 15th (Start), to September, 15th (Due), the event is displayed only in the September tab from 1st to 15th, but not in August tab. How can I fix this?
Thank you!
Best,
Christina
Hi @[deleted]
testing in my instance I was able to see the same - not being sure if this is intended behaviour.
From your project you could click on "Feedback geben" / "give Feedback" and let the Jira Work Management team know that you would like to see the proper feature of issues crossing months for their start date / due date.
I fully understand what you are looking for, at the moment it does just not look "right".
Regards,
Daniel
Thank you @Daniel Ebers, glad to hear that I am not the only one experiencing this problem! I will report it to the Jira Work Management team.

Hi @[deleted]
With "calendar" you mean the roadmap, or the calendar widget on a dashboard, or an app?

Sorry for not specifying this sufficiently! I mean the calendar view within a project (see Screenshot attached).

I've tested it and I can see my issue in both months with no problem.

Try to change the date of the issue.
Does this happen with all your issues in your project?

Thank you for your reply, it helps me to specify the problem! Thus, the problem seems to occur as soon as the issue's duration exceeds 5 weeks. Maybe you are able to replicate this.

Yes indeed! It does disappear from my screen as well, when I change the duration. Tbh, I wouldn't expect this to happen.

Hi @[deleted], in case you consider any alternatives, on behalf of my team at Planyway, I'd suggest trying Planyway calendar. Planyway dates are linked to Jira's start and due dates and all events will be visualized on the calendar or timeline.
Best,
Tania
