Starter questions- how to use Jira for forex trader

The more i look at Jira, the more i realize that i can use it for forex trading

1. I have ideas and i will call them as epics
2. i will create stories out of the epics and add to backlog
3. i will pickup a couple of stories and  focus on them and create iterations
4. this is where my thoughts gets fuzzy.
   >i will run monthly iterations with the couple of stories
   >these stories leads to events. for ex stock makes, 100 day high, i will respond with certain action

First, you need to define what "Statuses" your stories will have so that you can create a skeleton of your workflow. From that, you can put the actual workflow transition OR just global transitions (any status can transition to any status).
