Hi,
After spending hours trying to set up groups/permissions/roles, I've found no possible way to achieve such a simple configuration that I want , which is no such a big deal with some other similar products on the market, due to the over complicated nature of Jira. In summary, our company management works as the following:
-We basically have 3 groups of users: the admins (have all the rights to do and see everything literally), the project managers (have no right to create or access other projects but have the complete control over the project that he was assigned to as its PM) and finally developers (similar to the PMs except the rights to adjust project settings or bulk changes).
I've known how to create groups, project roles, permission ,v.v.. but dont really know how to make them work together. Really appreciate any help, thanks so much.

Jira permissions are pretty simple and straightforward once you got yourself familiar with them.
