Story Points not appearing on Scrum Board, but appearing everywhere else

Laura Zuk August 19, 2019

In my team's backlog and on the card detail screens, Story Points are visible on the card and the card previews. However, none of our team members can see the story points on the actual Scrum Board. I can't seem to find any reason that this might be happening. Any help would be appreciated!

Did you configure time estimation as enabled on the Jira server level? Also there's a place on the board configuration to setup the estimation statistics. You should select story points as your estimate and also decide what statistic is going to be "burned", in other words how would you report log work on issues.

How do you get to those places?

1. Jira administrator should go to administration -> issues -> under issue features click on time tracking and setup the time tracking as needed.

1. Open your board. At the right upper corner go to board -> configure -> estimation -> select Story points for Estimation Statistic.

Thanks!

Looks like time tracking is all set up and enabled on the server level.

Estimation is already set to Story Points as well.

The points still aren't appearing on the scrum board though. Could this be an issue for Atlassian support to check out?
