I am new to Jira Software, used Jira Core before. I was wondering, while I was editing stories, I have seen a possibility to link a certain story to another story (''is blocked by'', ''clones'', ''has to be done after''...). But when I finished one story before another (although I have linked them in a way the second one has to be finished before the first one), nothing changed. I mean, my question is: Is there a way to be notified if the stories are finished in a way not specified with link issue?
Thanks,
Andrea
Hi Andrea. You should be able to see the status of linked issues in Jira; the "Links" area lists all the linked issues and their current status. And if you type the linked Jira number into a text field (such as the Description or Comments field), Jira creates a hyperlink to that issue which will turn to line through text when that issue has been fixed. So far as being notified, you might be able to this with some sort of transition event with the workflow. If I come across this function in the next few days I'll post again.
