We are using time tracking in Jira and am running into two usability issues:
During our planning meetings, we move items to the active sprint, create tasks under them, assign time estimates (in hours) for the tasks, and assign the tasks to people. At some point we want to see the time assignment for each individual, but there doesn't seem to be a way to do this. The closest thing we found is the Workload Pie Chart report, but it is per-version rather than per-sprint, which means that if stories are not completed in a given sprint, they return to the backlog with assigned tasks which are then counted in the Workload Pie Chart report. Is there a way to get a breakdown of assigned work in the sprint per individual before starting the sprint?
Logging work seems pretty cumbersome. We regularly use the Active Sprints board, and logging time requires us 4 clicks and two popups before we can actually write how much time remains. For something that happens multiple times a day, this seems much too cumbersome. Is there a view that will allow inline editing of the time invested/time remaining values?
