Stuck on setting up "log work"

I can't seem to find to how to setup the "Log Work" option in issues. Can someone help on this please help on this please ?

Hi @Kasun Madurasinghe , welcome to the community and thanks for your question.

Please can you clarify what you mean?

If order to allow for users to log time / work in issues, you need to have Time Tracking enabled in the Jira instance. To check this, hit . on the keyboard and type Time Tracking, which will take you to the setting for this.

Then, you need to make sure that the permissions are granted at the project level where you want users to log work.

If Time Tracking is enabled and the correct people have the permission to log work, they should be able to log time directly in the issues.

Hi Valerie,

Thanks for your prompt response. I figured it out. I did all that but what was missing is the  Project Settings->Features->Estimation-> Enable -> Tick "Time" . This is turned off by default it seems. I couldn't find any material directing me to this.
