Sub-tasks not working on new next-gen project

I created a new next-gen project and am looking to bulk change some issues from a different board over, but keep getting an error message about sub-tasks not existing for this new project. I have sub-tasks enabled and use them on other projects. Any ideas on why I wouldn't be able to use sub-tasks on a next-gen project? Thanks!

You will not be able to do this since sub-tasks is not fully configured for next-gen projects in Jira. Follow this LINK to the roadmap of when more features will be released.
