Subscription email issue

I have a filter set to send an email every hour (cloud instance). It was working without issue until it was supposed to send one at 3pm. Never received it. Checked the subscription to see if I had mis configured it and it showed it was set to run every hour and it had run at 2pm but it said the next time to run was 8am today (several hours in the past). I edited the subscription (but didn't actually change anything) and hit update. It then displayed the next send should be at 4pm (as it should).

 

1) Any idea why it would show the next run time as a past time ?

2) Is there a system log that would possibly show me what might have happened?

Since it is JIRA Cloud, you will have to reach out to Atlassian Support to figure out what went wrong.

I have seen this on the JIRA server versions in the past but not able to find a related KB article.
