Subtask issue creation

I'm getting an error "you are not allowed to create this type of issue" when attempting to create a subtask off the parent.  I have added subtask issue types in the ITS and I have full permissions to the Project.  A subtask workflow and screen are present.  Any ideas on what to take a look at that I am missing?

Hey there,
maybe the subtask workflow has some validator that your role/group don't fit?  
It should definitely depend on the configuration.

Simon, Thanks for your answer and suggestion.  I did find a script Validator running excluding all except for one group.  (This was a prior addition) Once removed, I was able to create a subtask.

Hi Chris,

Are you able to create issues too? If not, it might be that your license could be expired.
