Subtask work logged should subtract from parent task remaining field

Need a Solution !!!!!!!!!!!

In Jira I created tasks and gave estimation of 1 week . I created 2 subtasks logged work of 2 days in 1 of the sub-task.

The problem is the logged work of 2 days did not get subtracted from the task rather the estimated and remaining time in task was still 1 week and logged time was 2 days.

Can anybody help me how to apply the logic of subtracting the sub-tasks logged work with remaining time of task?

Hi @Jerlyn flora , 

That's the expected Jira behavior, parent's estimate is independent of the subtask estimates. The roll-up value is basically just the estimates total of parent and subtasks. 

You'd see that the Time remaining field must be manually adjusted if you want to subtract the work log on subtasks.
