Hello, Ich have a mager Problem with my Time estimates and Worklogs.

I create an Issue witch is a User Story, there is an estimated Time of 20h. So now i create a sub-issue witch is a task where the worklog shoud be logged.

My problem is now if an employee logs work on the sub-issue the remaining time on the parent issue isn't decreasing, rather the estimated time bar is increasing.

Is this correct or is it a bug of the tempo Plugin

Hi @artindustrial _it ,

On Server, the Time tracking panel in the issue view is provided by JIRA, not Tempo so you might want to check with Atlassian about this.

From your screenshot, it looks like no original and remaining estimate was set when the sub-task was created.
As you have selected to include the sub-task information in the Time tracking panel of the parent task, logging time on the sub-task has this affect.

Logging time on the sub-task does not reduce the estimate on the parent task.
In case you are only logging work on sub-tasks, but not on the parent, it might be helpful to set the estimate on the sub-task(s) but none on the parent. The parent task can then show a accumulation of estimate, remaining and logged of all sub-tasks.
