Swimlanes do not work

In my project, I have the default Expedite and Everything Else Swimlanes (Queries mode) working fine.
A. I added a new swilane called Test, and in the JQL query, I input
priority = Candidate
I update it, but when I go back to the board, nothing happens

B. I also tried changing the JQL query of the default Expedite swimlane from "Immediate" to "Candidate", but then the whole swimlane disappeared from the board.

C. I also noticed that when I enter anything else apart from the Immediate option in the JQL query, the "" are gone when I update.

Is this some sort of bug, or am I doing sth wrong?

Can you confirm if the board JQL is not cancelling those information?
