Switching off time tracking for a single project

I can see how to switch off Time Tracking across all boards:

"Select the Jira icon ( , , , or ) > Jira settings > Issues.
Under ISSUE FEATURES, select Time Tracking.
Turn the Enable time tracking option on or off"

However, I am looking to only turn off time tracking for one project, not across all of them. 

There must be an easy way to remove the time tracking from a single project... no?

There is a simple solution. You need to hide Time Tracking field on Field Configuration Scheme. The best solution is to create one scheme for projects with timesheeting and one for projects without this functionality.
