This automation function allows us to replicate tickets from board to board. i.e., I've got it setup that when a story is raised in the A board, it creates a duplicate in the B board, and then any updates to the original ticket's description updates the B ticket. In antother words, when a ticket is added, it will immediately be synced over to the other project. Project A and project B are in the same JIRA account.

Our app Elements Copy & Sync would be able to do that for you. It allows you to copy fields, comments, and/or attachments to new issues, and keep them synchronized.
The Cloud version is not yet available on the Atlassian Marketplace, but you can sign up to be notified when the app is released: https://copy-sync-cloud.elements-apps.com/
