Table Transformer struggles with specific Table Excerpt Include input

I am trying to merge tables brought in from a Table Excerpt Include macro with the 'pages with labels' option. In the preview, you can see two tables are being brought in (as expected):

However, with a very simple Table Transformer that I know works with these two tables, the output is strange (note the long blue box):

I have some potentially unusual things going on, where I am constructing the second table that is getting pulled in like this:

If I construct the table directly instead, the Table Transformer works fine.

I guess I wouldn't be shocked if this didn't work, but I'm confused because in the Preview the Table Excerpt Include looks like it did it's job, so I don't understand why this whole thing would fail.

Any thoughts?

Hello David,

Could you check if you use the latest version of the Table Filter and Charts app? Similar issue was fixed in version 5.2.22.

I'm not an admin so I don't think I can see the current version. I've asked my admins to update the plugin so I'll report back once that happens.
