Tables not formatted when issues created via incoming mail server

Hi 

I am using incoming mail server to create issues on JIRA.

When I send an email with a table then i expect that the table structure is preserved when issues are created in JIRA. But thats not the case, the table structure is not formatted in JIRA.

How can i preserve my table formatting in JIRA (which is coming from emails)

Hi Pilar,

Not sure if this would be the most 'pretty' way to do this, but have you attempted to use JIRA's formatting in the e-mail itself as per: https://jira.atlassian.com/secure/WikiRendererHelpAction.jspa?section=all

For example, put a '{noformat}' before and after the table. This should prevent the format from being applied.
