Task visualization on the Roadmap

Dear all,

I would like to have visualise all my tasks on the Roadmap on a similar way as Epics are visible on the Roadmap. However, even if enter start and due date, I cannot see the task on the roadmap. Only a list of tasks that belong to a certain epic. 

Is there a way to show a swim lane also for tasks or stories?

The functionality you are looking for to show timebars for tasks is not available in Basic Roadmaps, which is what you have in the Standard subscription for Jira Cloud. You would need to have Advanced Roadmaps which is available with the Premium subscription.

You can show your tasks on the Timeline using Time Squad, which is free up to 10 users!

Do we have to purchase Time Squad for all users we have in Jira or can we have it just a few users?

Looking at the info in the pricing screen, you have to purchase it for all users.

@Trudy Claspill is correct. Like all Jira Apps, the number of users should correspond to the number of users of your Jira instance.

You have a free trial if you want to test it on your current Jira instance, or you can also create your own 10-user Jira instance for free.

thank you for your response. We already have nearly 20 employees and one of them needs a solution :)
