Issue Description: Following the recent Jira Cloud UI update, there has been a change in search behaviour between project types:

Request: Please provide guidance on how to restore the previous search functionality for Team Managed Projects, or confirm if this is an intended change and advise on any available workarounds.

Hi @Tracey Bryant and welcome to the Community?
Where are you seeing this behaviour? When I search for a work item in the search bar in a project (no difference between team and company managed) and then simply enter a number in the search bar and hit enter, the work item with that number just pops up. Both in Team and Company managed projects.
Or are you searching somewhere else?
Hi Walter,
I'm doing the search from the search bar in the projects. It's consistently different between Company and Team Managed projects. All company managed projects will allow to search on just the work item #. All team managed projects require the project key and work item #.
This has only been occurring since the recent UI changes, previously both worked with just the #.
