Team-managed projects are able to be seen and used in the 'Planning' feature in Jira Software?

Deleted user January 15, 2024

Hi.

I use free plan in Jira Software and I am going to create team-managed projects.

And I will upgrade my pricing plan.

I wonder the 'Planning' feature from premium plan also works with team-managed projects.

Please give me information, then I can decide which type of projects I will create.

Thank you!

Hi @[deleted] and welcome to the Atlassian Community!

Yes, Advanced Roadmaps now support Team-managed projects with some limitations:

- Issues within team-managed projects can't have parent from other projects (and the highest hierarchy level is Epic) - you can track the future update on this issue here: https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/JSWCLOUD-25619

- For more details, please check out: https://support.atlassian.com/jira-software-cloud/docs/limitations-of-team-managed-projects-in-advanced-roadmaps/

I hope this is helpful!

Hi @[deleted]

Yes, Jira Software Premium's 'Planning' feature supports both team-managed and company-managed projects. This feature allows for advanced planning across multiple teams and projects. For more details, you can refer to the official Atlassian documentation:

I hope this helps!
