Hi,
we are using Jira Cloud and the Jira Cloud integration on Microsoft Teams.
We require our users to set a Resolution and enter a comment when resolving an issue, but in the Teams issue view, when you change the status of an issue it just... changes.
It does not pop up the transition screen, so nothing can be entered.
I feel like I'm missing a setting somewhere, can someone point me in the right direction?
Thanks!
Thanks for asking. It is not implemented in the Jira Microsoft Teams integration from Atlassian.
Regards,
Leo
That seems like a big missing piece... according to this article,
There are many native functionalities in Jira that depend on the "Resolution" field. Some of them are (and they are not restricted to):
- Issues having its key
strikethroughon boards;- Reports about issues (for example, "Created vs resolved");
- System filters (for example, "Open Issues").
Keeping the "Resolution" field working according the best practices is crucial for your team to leverage Jira on exploring your company's potential.
Will the functionality be added in a future release?
