Hello.
Jira/Tempo access for our employees is connected to Active directory.
When our project managers are reviewing accounts, to see the logged time and on which issues the time is logged, they export the review to pdf. When looking at the worklog of the account in tempo I can see the name of the employee, but once I export it, I only get the initials of the employee.
The problem is, that we have two employees with the same initials, and I am not seeing where I can change this.
Can you help?
I added two photos, one from Tempo - Accounts and the other one from the pdf export of the same worklogs.

Hi Sigriður,
The report in your screenshots seems to be created in the Timesheets view and the pdf export from this view will only show the initials of the worklog owner.
Can you please check out the Tempo, Reports, Account report view. Select to view the report in List view, group by Issue and Worklog and add the "User" column (see https://tempo-io.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/TEMPO/pages/365199567/Switching+Between+List+and+Grid+View and https://tempo-io.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/TEMPO/pages/365199581/Grouping+Report+Data )
The pdf export taken from this view will include the full name of the worklog owner.
Regards,
Susanne Götz

Hi Susanne.
Thank you for this. I will let my users know about this.
Just to be sure, there is no way for me to change a users initials in tempo, right?

That is correct. The initials can only be changed if you would change the users full name.
Also, in Tempo 9 and later versions, the "Timesheets" view have been removed. Tempo Report views and the "My work" views are used to replace them. (https://tempo-io.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/SERVERNEWS/pages/315490361/2018-11-01+Big+changes+to+Tempo+Server)

We need to deactivate employees from Active Directory immediately and then delete within 90 days. The problem is when we deactivate and then delete the accounts from Active Directory the users are no longer showing up in the Tempo reports. Is there a way to still show the history of data that is stored in JIRA (for time tracking in Tempo) even though their mynordstrom accounts are deactivated or deleted within Active Directory? Please advise. Same here

Hi, can you please submit a support ticket for this if you not already have done so?

Have you tried this app? It uses Tempo accounts to create contracts you can setup as billable and non-billable and also get reports from it: https://marketplace.atlassian.com/apps/1221714/contractspro-contract-manager-for-jira?hosting=server&tab=overview

Thank you Eduardo. Have not seen this. The problem however kind of resolved itself since one employee is leaving our company. So for now we don't need to worry about this.
