Wondering if it's possible to track time on a ticket in one project e.g. ProjectA and then when this ticket needs to be moved to a different team's project for them to work on it e.g. ProjectB, will the time tracking in Tempo still show the hours tracked for the issue in the initial ProjectA Keyed issue ?
Thanks,
Fiona
Hi @Fiona Brown
When work is logged on an issue, the issue id is used to connect the worklog information with the issue.
This id is not changed when an issue is moved to another project.
When filtering a Tempo Report by Project, worklogs will be shown for the project the issue has been moved to, not the original project where the time was logged.
Please note that there can be a delay when issues are moved to a different project, until this information is available in Tempo Reports.
Best regards,
Susanne Götz

Thanks so much for your swift reply. This should be a great help for us as I'm trying to improve a very clunky process we've currently got where a team is cloning and replicating tickets instead of moving them to another team with the justification being that they need to keep the original ticket in their project for Tempo time-tracking.

Hi @Fiona Brown
The time-tracking data belongs to the issue so will be kept when an issue is moved.
The permissions of ticket uses to see the issue may be changed.
