Test Plans are throwing 504 Gateway Time-out Error after adding Manual Steps as column

Hi everyone,

looks like I encountered a Bug in Jira. I added the column 'manual test step' as column in the test plan. Now all my test plans are throwing 504 Gateway Time-out Error.
I'm not able to revert the change and remove the column again because the Error Message blocks the whole overview including column area.

Does anyone know a Fix or a workaround?

Steps to reproduce:

- open a test plan

- click column

- add 'manual test step'

Actual Result:

- Overview section throwing 504 Gateway Time-out Error

Test options are not ootb in Jira, what 3rd party is used in your instance?

Do you have enough rights to use the 3rd party app?

If this error is in the app, contact the vendor/developer of the 3rd party app.

Hello Marc,

thank you for your reply. I pinged someone who is in charge. The view was resetted.
Recommendation was to limit the amount of displayed TC's in the test plan if I'm trying new columns. That needs to be done before otherwise the error message is even blocking this section.

If this is the case, you might want to share this with the app developer.

As this sounds strange that you can't change the view if there are existing TC in place.
