The employee who started our Jira Boards left the company. Will removing them affect the boards?

Just like it says above. The employee who started two Jira boards for our company left our employment. Can we remove him? Will removing him affect those boards in any way? Thank you in advance!

There should be no impact, meaning those boards will still be accessible.  The board owner/admin just has more permission to configure the board settings and modify the filter behind the board.

You can transfer the administrator of the board and filter owner to an active associate so they can modify if they need to but everyone should still be able to access the project and board if you remove the user's account.
