An administrative level user in our organization is running into an issue where he can create a ticket, can access it via the direct link, I can see it as being created under his account but it cannot be found on the Kanban board and will also not show up in search.

We do not currently use any sub filters and this is the only user having the issue.

Hi @Jake Peterson ,

Could you please provide more info about:

  • The issue type that user creates
  • The query that is behind this kanban board
  • The search query you are typing in the search field
  • The project role this user currently have in the project
  • The group this user belong to
  • The status this ticket currently have as well as the statuses mapped on the kanban board

Have you try asking from another user to create the same issue type issue, in the same project? Does this issue appear on the kanban and in the search results?

Cheers,
Alex

Hi @Alex Koxaras _Relational_

  • Issue type is "Task"
  • I am unsure where to find this but I believe it is just the default as we have not created any special type of rules.
  • Also not doing anything advanced here. Just searching by the ticket key Jira creates automatically.
  • Project role for this user is Admin.
  • This users group is "Site-Admins" & "Jira-Software-Users"
  • Status is "On Hold" which would be the first column in our Kanban board.

The issue only seems to be with this user. I can create the same ticket with all the parameters and it works as expected.
