Tickets lost after transfer from one Software project to another

Alina Sitnik March 3, 2022

Good morning, community!

I have a question about ticket transfers from one Software project to another.

There were 51 tickets in a Sprint of Software project A. I then selected all of them and bulk moved them to Software Project B. I then got a confirmation message saying that all of the 51 tickets were successfully moved.

However, when I went to check in Project B, there were only 43 tickets.

Can I somehow track what happened or maybe revert the bulk move?

Thank you very much for all of your answers.

Alina

Hello @Alina Sitnik ,

when you migrate the tickets, those will be having new project keys.
OLD-1, OLD-2, OLD-3 will be shown something as NEW-4, NEW-5, New-6.

and these tickets already having the sprint number (because these are moved from the sprint),

Try again searching by something like the below-

Project = NEW and sprint = sprint name (Old Project Sprint Name)

once you got all the issues again bulk update and remove the sprint name from all the tickets.

After this, if you are still unable to find the issues on the board, You can check in Board settings --> Columns --> Map the workflow statuses with the appropriate  columns.

Thanks,
Anvesh

Thank you very much,  @KAGITHALA BABU ANVESH !

I will try this and see what I can find there.

Good morning @KAGITHALA BABU ANVESH ,

I've tried looking for the tickets and again, what I see are only the 43 tickets instead of the 51 tickets.

Is there a way to look at the history of that bulk move anyhow?

Warm regards,

Alina
