Hi
I recently installed Jira Cloud version for our company. I was told that reporting is easy. However, getting custom reports seems to be a problem.
Can somebody please tell/show me how to extract data to identify the time a ticket spent in a single column?
Kind regards
Hi @Andre May
Refer to https://confluence.atlassian.com/jira/tracking-the-time-taken-for-each-workflow-transition-126910724.html on the available choices to generate such a report..
Hello @Andre May

Hi @Andre May
In Jira Cloud, extracting the report about time spent on a task can be a bit challenging, especially getting custom reports. But instead of getting the reports directly from Jira with all those difficulties, you can simply get the data by using appropriate add-ons from Atlassian Marketplace.
You can try "Time in status for Jira Cloud" by SaaSJet if you want to ease the process of extracting your report.
It allows to create seven types of reports: Time in Status, Assignee Time, Average Time, Status Entrance Date, Time in Status per Date, Status Count and Transition Count.
Also, there is a possibility to export your data and to view all reports as charts.
Regards
