I have time logging enabled in my Jira settings.
I have created a new Jira scrum project for testing the new Jira experience.
When creating a new issue I dont have the option to log the time that I spent on that issue.
How can I bring back this feature?
By the way on the mobile app the option is available.
Hello, David.
Thank you for the clarification from your end, specifically on the project type that you are actually using (Next Gen) - What's coming soon for next-gen projects in Jira Software Cloud I can confirm that the time tracking feature is not available yet on JIRA Cloud after confirming the behavior on my instance as well:
Going through our public issue tracker, I came across a Suggestion that was created to address this concern to the dev / engineering team as per the following link:
I encourage you to visit the suggestion page linked above and click the Vote and Watch links near the top right to show support for the feature. By doing this, it will ensure you are proactively informed of progress and updates going forward.
Feel free to share your feedback by leaving a comment on the ticket as this helps us prioritize & understand the use case of the feature request.
I hope that helps to clarify the behavior that we are currently seeing on Cloud. Feel free to let me know if you require any further concerns that you would like to discuss about. Thanks.
Hi there, David.
Since you mentioned new JIRA experience, I would assume that you are referring to the new JIRA issue view mentioned here.
May I know if you have checked on the Time Tracking section when expanding the Show More in the issue panel which looks like this?
Let me know how it goes on your end. Thanks.
