Time logging in the new Jira experience

Thank you for the clarification from your end, specifically on the project type that you are actually using (Next Gen) - What's coming soon for next-gen projects in Jira Software Cloud I can confirm that the time tracking feature is not available yet on JIRA Cloud after confirming the behavior on my instance as well:
Going through our public issue tracker, I came across a Suggestion that was created to address this concern to the dev / engineering team as per the following link:

Since you mentioned new JIRA experience, I would assume that you are referring to the new JIRA issue view mentioned here.
May I know if you have checked on the Time Tracking section when expanding the Show More in the issue panel which looks like this?

I have created a new "next-gen project" and a new issue in it.
As you can see in the print screen, i dont have the option to expand.
