Timeline view is not updated with selected EPIC in kanban view

I have created a Kanban board for my Epic. But I am getting an option to create an EPIC in jira timeline view. I don't want to create a new epic as I already have an Epic.

From timeline you will be able to create any ticket. You can't block epic creation because you created one already.

I have already created stories and EPIC attached to each story. How can I sync that in the timeline view?

Also I don't have option to create story from here.
