Hello Colleagues,
my Team and myself are using Free version of Jira software (cloud) and wondering the way we could manage the timelines (similar to gannt-diagramm). As far as we can see Jira do not include Gannt diagramms, so we´re looking for any report which could meet following requirements:
Show us:
- Time planned for any task
- Time already spent for the Task
- Estimated date of the task closure.
- Status of the task
- Responsible for the task.
any reply will be appreciated!
Best Regards
Anastassiya
I’d also recommend the Time to SLA plugin for Jira Cloud.
It allows you and your team to instantly track all of your tickets with a customizable SLA panel, which displays the metrics that you mentioned (i.e. time planned for any task, time already spent on a task etc).
What’s more is that it color-codes SLAs based on status and shows real time countdown timers based on your SLA custom fields, in order for you and your team to see the status and overall performance of each SLA at one glance.
You can also create reports for a deeper dive into specific results quickly, which can include live data and can be easily exported.

I hope this helps.
Best wishes,
Faith
Also, you can consider another solution from Atlassian marketplace:
- reminders like Boomerang - lets to set reminders for each Jira issue with specified message, time, recipients and recurring settings.
- apps for setting SLA timer (timelines), for example, Jira Service Desk (solution from Jira) for tickets from Service Desk Portal or SLA Time and Report for issues from Jira Software and Core, Jira Service Desk
- tools for calculation time each issue was at the workflow, like Time in Status for Jira Cloud ,(+assignee time) and Time Between Statuses
Try free trial versions of each of them and choose the best solution for you
Hope you will find the solution for your requests
Best,
Zoryana

You're right, JIRA doesn't include Gantt charts out of the box, but there are some add-ons or functionalities that can be added. For JIRA Cloud there is the Roadmap feature and also a Gantt cloud app in the Atlassian Marketplace.
More details can be found here: https://confluence.atlassian.com/confeval/jira-software-evaluator-resources/jira-software-does-jira-software-provide-a-gantt-view-out-of-the-box
and for the Gantt cloud app:

Hope it works,
