Timeschedules in Jira

florian_correll May 19, 2025

Hello,

we work with a Project Management Software named iP3 where we can track our timeschedule of the Project like in MS Project.

Is it possible to import these Timeschedule in Jira and link it with the regarding tickets?

Kind regards,

Florian Correll

Hi Florian,

Thanks for reaching out. Yes, it's possible to integrate or import a timeschedule from an external project management tool like iP3 (similar to MS Project) into Jira though the exact approach depends on how your data is exported and how you did like to visualize and link it within Jira.
You can use Jira’s built-in CSV import feature to map those records into Jira issues. During the import, you can link tasks to epics, set due dates, and define custom fields like “Start Date,” “End Date,” or “Milestones” if needed.
