Hi,
Is anyone aware of a tool, plugin, extension, etc. in JIRA that can help for tracking experiment results? Please read on for a clearer picture of the problem.
Current Issue: In order to find the results of an experiment we have to go digging through JIRA descriptions an comments.
Solution I'm looking for: Something we can implement where the person in charge of adding the results of an experiment in JIRA can tag them as "results" or plug them into a specific field made for results that organizes and maintains all experiment results for easier/quicker access.
Thanks!
Can you expand more on what type of results, tags these are? The reason I'm asking is that this sounds like you could solve this by creating a set of custom fields ( https://confluence.atlassian.com/adminjiraserver/adding-a-custom-field-938847222.html ) and then depending on how you structure them - you can retrieve the appropriate data.
Hey Daniel,
Thanks for the response. A custom field sounds exactly like what I need, thank you for the link. Going to see if I can get something implemented with that. Cheers.
