Tooltip for select list - how to?

Hi All,

we have a select list with several options and we'd like to add a tooltip for the users in order to select the correct option when submitting an issue.

How is it possible?

I'd add the tooltip to the field's description. That way it will show up under the select list when the user is editing the field's value.
