Tranfser History/Tickets to another user

Hi there,

Is there a way of moving all user tickets/changes/history to another user? Dosen't matter if is through a plugin or any other way.

May I inquire about the use case?

If you're looking to re-assign (change the assignee) from one user to another, this is done through a bulk edit of issues.

If you're looking to change everything a user has done to another user, I'm afraid that's not possible.

I'm not sure why you would want to do this.  "Everything" implies that you're going to be amending history, so you'd be destroying information that Jira is explicitly tracking for you.

Why would you do that?

Flipping issues so that the people responsible for them is normal when people leave, but that's not hard, a swift bulk-edit on assignee is mostly all you need to do.  Then you deactivate the leaver's account to lock them out and get their licence-space back for someone else to use.
