Transition is not working to In Progress

Hi There,

I am not able to change my status into 'In Progress' from to do status. I am attaching the workflow and its not appearing in my Issue.

Also I would like to know what is the number implies after status?

If there is no condition on 'to do' as suggested by Nic, everything is normal and still its not working, consider doing "Integrity Checker" by marking check box 'Check workflow integrity'. If ther is any corrupt transition in the database. result of the integrty check will suggest it. Click Fix it and problem will be solved.

I would say there is a condition on your to-do -> in-progress transition that says you cannot perform that action.
