Transition issue in active sprint

I've been banging my head against the wall for too many hours and cannot figure out how to transition an issue within my active sprint. I have permission to transition issues in the project, I believe I have my status mapped correctly for each column

And this is my workflow.

I've read through tons of documentation and cannot seem to figure out what I am doing wrong. PLEASE HELP!!!

From which status to which status are you trying to transistion the issue?

If it is between the same board column, eg., Open to ToDo, then i understand it should be difficult to find the partition below in the same column to which you have to drag drop the issue.

But when you just drag the ticket and , the possible places to which you can drop the ticket will be highlighted.
