Transition parent when all subtasks are resolved

Transition parent when all subtasks are resolved - I am trying to use this script. when I am editing the workflow and I add a post function my screen just freezes if I select this option, I don't get to enter any parameters or add the script. If I click on the script name to add parameters the browser tries to make a call but nothing happens, if I click on the add button the browser does nothing at all. It is a workflow with only issue type sub-task on it. Other scripts such as 'fire a custom email' or 'fire an event' are fine.

I am running JIRA V6.2.6 and I am running the plugin version 3.0.10

I have run the integrity checker and re-indexed.

any advice will be very gratefully received.

There's nothing in here relating to a transition. But I'd sort out: Script field failed on issue: PYF-98, field: Scripted answer 1 ie fix the script field, and removing the field from the other plugin, then it might be clearer what is going on.

HI,

I have made a bit of progress by looking at the things you suggested. I can attache the script now but I still can't get it working. The parent record does not transition when I close the last child item. To clarify:

I put the script on the subtask workflow so that when the subtask is transitioned to 'closed' it should move the parent item along to the next status (Ready for Test) in it's own workflow. I have attached  a text file with the end of the JIRA log file. It has the lines that were from the time of the transaction.

The way you describe it it sounds like a browser issue - can you hit F12 and look for errors, also check the atlassian-jira.log file on the server for problems.
