Transitioning the parent issue to approved if all child issue are in approved status

Using Scriptrunner Validator (in workflow transition), I want to make sure all child issues are transitioned to 'APPROVED' status before transitioning the parent issue to 'APPROVED', otherwise the parent issue won't be allowed to transition. What is the script used in this case?

Hi Yousif,

I can confirm that in ScriptRunner for Jira Cloud validators are writeen using the Jira Expression framework.

We have some examples of how to use this in our docs page here and there is an example here of how to allow a parent issue to be transitioned only when all subtasks are in a paticular status that can help you to achieve your requirement.
