Translation of Resolutions of Jira Server

Hi,

my question regards on the translation of resolutions. We got beside the common resolutions of Jira some custome resolutions. The common resolutions are automatically translated from English for example into German. When I want to translate the custome resolutions I navigate to:

JIRA ADMINISTRATION > Issues > Resolutions.

On this page I find the resolutions and follow the Link "Translate resolutions".

Now I would expect when I choose the German language that I would find the standard resolutions already translated because they are already translated in the frontend. But there is nothing translated and all fields are clear. What will happen, if I translate on this page the custom resolutions. Will my standard resolutions still be translated, or do I have to translate them also?

The standard resolutions translations will be still there even when you add translations to the custom resolutions.

If you would like to overwrite the default resolution translations for the standard resolutions, you can fill in the empty translation boxes in those standard resolution.
