I'm trying to make our Jira instance a trusted application for within Fisheye. The problem is Fisheye can't dowload the certificate from Jira as it must login via our cusomt login page. The error I get is:
Unable to retrieve the application's certificate: java.io.IOException: Server returned HTTP response code: 401 for URL: https://authserver.mycompany.com/sso/login?service=https%3A%2F%2Fjira.mycompany.com%2Fjira%2Fadmin%2FappTrustCertificate
Is our Jira/Crowd configuration wrong or is there another solution?
Thanks in advance
Hi Chen,
The workaround we used is to disable crowd during Trusted application creation. So far no solution but I suspect our SSO login page being the issue.
Kind regards,
Vincent
Hi Thomas,
Thanks for your reply
The SSO actual works but only via our custom form login. Once this form is active I'm not able to create an application link anymore as it is not possible to authenticate against the form based login. I'm only able to get it working once I disable Crowd and use normal Jira login which is able to login via basic authentication (probably) instead of form based auth.
So is it possible to configure crows to have both form based and basic authentication?
Grtz,
Vincent

Hi Vincent,
Does SSO between your JIRA, Crowd and FishEye work?
Can you establish the applicaiton link to JIRA from FishEye?
Cheers,
Thomas
