Trying to edit task but can't

I have created a new Business Project

Create a new task and am trying to edit it but when I click on summary or description I am not allowed to Edit anything. I tried on both Chrome and Edge. Getting these warnings and errors. Not sure if they are related.

adding to what Carlos perfectly suggested there is some minor probability a Jira admin of your instance restricted the ability to edit through workflow properties.

A releated part I could imagine it is worth double checking is the property called jira.issue.editable

@Elsa Gaffiero how are you ?

Do you have permission to Edit Issues ?

Check the Permission Schemes of your project and check this permission :)

Or if you have the jira-admin in the site, type G +G  write "Permission Helper" and use your user, issue that you want edit and in the permission type Edit Issue, then submit the request, just in time you will receive if you can ou cant edit the issue (and the answer why you can't edit the issue)
