What I did:

Everything seems to be pretty good, as I can open http://localhost:8080 sucessfully.

Beeing there I didn't do any browser based configuration but want to check wether jira will run again after rebooting the system.

And here I am faced to the problem: Jira does not run any more, so I can't proceed configuring via http://localhost:8080.

Any help is appreciated.

Hi Hartmut,

do you see anything in the log files?

Also here is a page with some considerations based on the way you installed Jira: https://confluence.atlassian.com/adminjiraserver/installing-jira-applications-on-linux-from-archive-file-938846844.html

I hope that helps!
