Two fields on issue create are not showing for some users

I have a project with a number of users assigned.  There are two users that are not showing a couple of fields when creating a request issue, Linked Issue and Issue.  The two have roles of Tester and Zyphyr QA.  They are also in group External Users.  Another user in group External Users has the role of Developer and this person also does not get the two fields.  Another user has roles of Business Partner, Developer, Tester, and Zyphyr QA, and is in group JIRAAWS.  This user has fields Linked Issue and Issue.  Another user that has the two roles of Tester and Zyphyr QA and is in group JIRAAWS also has the two fields showing.  I cannot find a common, or uncommon. thread among the users and cannot determine why some show the two fields and why the others don't have them.

Hi @Monica Collins ,

A user must have "Link Issue" permissions to see Linked Issue and Issue. From your problem statement , it seems only the group 'JIRAAWS' has "Link Issue permissions in your project. Two options for you

1. Ask your JIRA admin to modify the permission scheme of your project to grant "Link Issue" permissions to project roles like (Tester, Developer , Zyphyr QA)

2. Add the users to JIRAAWS group - Again to be done by JIRA admins.
