I created a project in Jira as a team-managed project for the first time but I came to know that the Active Sprints view is only available when you create a Kanban-type project template. I want to change my existing team-managed project to a Kanban Template, but when I try to visit the Project settings view I don't see the option to change the project type from team-managed to Kanban.

Hello @Eminds

The project type cannot be simply changed but requires migration to a new project.

Atlassian documentation for the same is available here.

Kindly accept the answer if this helps.

Hey,

I thought of doing this, but was looking for a more straightforward flow where one can have a setting option to change the project type and all project migration flow can work in the same way as mentioned in the documentation link.

Thanks a lot for confirming this, @Gaurav

Best,
